TV inoperative, front LED off. | R405 was found with cold solder and signs of overheating. After re-soldering it started working again, but all I had to do was move the chassis and the defect returned and r405 was almost smoking. The reason for the heating is that this resistor feeds the horizontal drive transistor collector and the cause of the defect was cold welding on IC11 which stops sending the horizontal pulse, making the base of Q402 very positive. Note: in the r405 scheme it has a value of 150Ω and a zener in parallel. In this device tsound was no zener and the resistor was 180Ω, after repairing the device I put a 220Ω one and it was perfect. | littlecarlos | |
