The nicam option remains on. Symptom occurs after switching nicam on and then off and leave by stand by. to avoid that the nicam option remains on you have to change an other option at the same time. e.g. change uhf only to off and again to on then the nicam remains off after saving.

No sound, no functions and no picture. On firstly checking the power supply this proved to be ok. on then checking the power on reset circuit, this was identified to be fault. replacing d6665 (4.7v zener; 4822 130 80883) and t7663 (bc858; 4822 130 42513) restored operation.
