Lock with the message "enter pin" | Philips TV 40pfg4309/78, suddenly, while watching a program, the screen would freeze and a rectangle would appear with the message "insert pin". I looked for information that the default Philips pin was 8888 (it worked but it soon came back). I tried to solve it using the remote control but I didn't find the way. I found a firmware update on the Philips website and installed it via pendrive but it didn't help. So I ended up finding how to solve it using the control: home key/configure/configure channel/child lock/block via content. Tsound are three options to select from: drugs, violence and sex.
