SONY	KV1945R	Color distortion, replace ic301	No blue, yellow picture. base voltage at q701 was 0 volts.output at pin 28 at ic301 0 volts, input to ic good.

SONY	KV2643R	Shut down, removed l810	This unit would shut down by itself. the picture wasexpanded in size (a lot of overscan). the hv was 3kv lower.
SONY	KV2643R	Sound no mute during change, replaced q042	Sound would not mute during channel change. checked pin #13of ic032 positive pulse was present during channel change, therefore,q042 was suspected.
SONY	KV2643R	Clock display dims, replaced display	Clock display dims when touched by hand. display flickers when someone walks by tv.
SONY	KV2601	No color, replaced shorted cv301	After about 2-3 minutes of playing time color disappeared.found cv301 actually physically shorted to 0Ω.
SONY	KV2601	No uhf, replaced q203	During programming unit would skip uhf band. 12v b+ was low(10.5v), q203 was bad.
SONY	KP5000	Incorrect function for tuning, q2211 leaky	During programming unit would not stop on active channels in one direction from low to high.
SONY	KV2644R	No tuning lock, replaced c219	Would not lock on to any channel in program. aft voltage pin#10, ic201 down to 0.4v.
SONY	KV2643R	Channel drift, replaced ic2003	Set would drift off channel during operation. found ic2003(display memory) apparently loading control ic and changing pwm voltage.
SONY	KV2643R	Retrace lines, broken land on c board	Servicer informed me of a problem where the picture would benormal and then get brighter and go into retrace and then back to normal.then it again would repeat itself.
