The TV turns on, the LEDs turn on and then turns off, leaving the image in the background and the sound. | In my case tsound was a burned out LED on the bar. To test without opening the panel, measure the LED returns, the LED bar has 8 returns, measure from n1 to n8 if one of them gives a different voltage from the other, the LED is open or shorted. | Removing transistor Q3 on the inverter board removes the protection and the LEDs remain on, but the correct option is to open the panel and replace the burnt LED or replace the entire bar.
