TV doesn't turn on | TV without 5v power supply - open 2r2 metal film resistor (r508) at the power supply. It is located between the 2 large capacitors of the primary power supply. If after changing the resistor the power supply is "buzzing", that is, making a noise in the 5v power supply transformer, replace the 3v6 zener (zd501) which becomes shorted.
