Symptom y-sus board, z-sus and signal board inoperative | TV with the y-sus and z-sus cards inoperative. the signal board or tcom is supplied with 3v3 on the ic 453, but it is inoperative “the d401 led does not blink” defect found on the y-sus board: c205 smd under the r201de 2r2 near the yellow chopper transformer “it is under the glue silicon” it has a short circuit, causing the dc/dc power supply to not generate +22v. which powers the 205 smd as7818 ic which regulates the +18 volts. the voltage at the IC was around 7v. the value of the capacitor is 1k5pf /1kv. | Place a normal blue 1k5pf /1kv capacitor in position c205. | aldin |

Turns on and off and returns to stand by | 2 capacitors of 3300 mf/10v on the 5 volt line practically exhausted. the impression was that tsound was a defect on the y sus board. when it was isolated from the z sus board the TV turned on normally. paca y sus tsound was no short. what was left was the power supply board. the relay tripped because the 5 volt power supply was not supported. | Changing the 3300 mf/10v capacitors and checking the power supply capacitors. tsound were several with low capacitance and high esr. after that the tv started working normally again | jose carlos |
