Burning of ic802(str), d184, c812, q804 | In the first production batches the resistor r841 was assembled very close to the heatsink, which will cause cold solder heat dissipation and oxidation at its terminals. as this resistor is located between the drive and the base of the power transistor, this bad contact will cause IC802(str), d814, c812, q804 | Solution: 1) after the burned components are replaced, the resistor r841 must be removed, checking that its value has not been replaced, if it has been, it must be replaced. if its value is ok, its terminals should be sanded and resoldered into its position on the board. 2) please take this countermeasure for all devices that pass through an authorized workshop for maintenance, whether the device is presenting or not problems at the power supply. | |
