Only works when plugged in This kts-1123 speaker only worked when plugged in. If you tried to turn it on using just the internal battery, it would start making that startup sound and it would stop right at the beginning, starting to emit some clicks. If it was plugged in, it started normally, and could be removed from the socket, but if the volume was turned up to maximum the problem would return. I checked the battery and it was perfect. as the defect presented prevents the device from functioning at maximum volume and, without having the circuit diagram to analyze, I placed a 4.7Ω resistor in series with the speaker and the problem was solved, you can't even notice anything difference in sound. littlecarlos
