I reconnected the cable to the main board again and the defect returned. Even so, I left it connected and disconnected it from the display side and the defect persisted. I even thought the defect was in the cable. l | I cleaned the side of the cable connected to the main board using an eraser like we do on computer memories and applied contact cleaner to the main board connection, and the TV started working normally again. | jfr |
