Turns on and off non-stop: the TV normally stays on for a few minutes, sometimes not even a minute, then it starts to turn off in short intervals of half a second or less, disappearing and the audio and video returning. | Solution: d1105 in short, the 5v regulator ic1205 that feeds the circuit of this diode which is the CR receiver among others was overheating due to excess current and causing it to trigger protection, not that of the TV but that of the ic1205 itself doing the even turn it off, but when the voltage reference at its input changed, it turned it back on again, which caused the defect. | ||
