When inserting tape, tape goes in, get a motor whirring noise, and tape ejects again with an "f02" or "f04" error. closer examination shows that tape seating correctly, but tape not being fed out to the head | Cause was the motor powering the main mechanical feed/load and eject gear, underside of main front right of central chasis. small plastic part on motor spindle under gear had split, so slipping. secured part and gear to spindle with super glue! ok now! | ||
