Internal noise (mechanics/vibrations). If the relay activates intermittently, check the thermal fuse of the main transformer.
PHILIPS FWM779/ FWM589/ FWM57
Noise when changing channels or "plop" function. Check/resolder connectors 1201 (for model fwm570) and 2102, cold soldering may also occur on capacitors 2150, 2100; crystals 1203, 1204 and ci 7210.
PHILIPS FWM779/ FWM589/ FWM57
Left channel doesn't work Check possible failure in headphone identification, check: 3223, 7204, 2210, 7207, 7210, 7201, 7209, 7110 and 7168.
PHILIPS FWM779/ FWM589/ FWM57
Right channel doesn't work Check possible failure in headphone identification, check: 3223, 7204, 2210, 7207, 7210, 7201, 7209, 7110 and 7168.
PHILIPS FWM779/ FWM589/ FWM57
Does not read - does not recognize the disk - no disk Check ci 7403 on the af12 panel - check cdm, clean before changing.
PHILIPS FWM779/ FWM589/ FWM57
Does not read - does not recognize the disk - no disk Does not recognize the disk
PHILIPS FWM779/ FWM589/ FWM57
Indicates [no disc], [no], [insere disc]. Check capacitors 2861 and 2866.
PHILIPS FWM779/ FWM589/ FWM57
Display indica: reading. Check the capacitors: 2873, 2874, 2870, 2871, 2872, 2875.
PHILIPS FWM779/ FWM589/ FWM57
Turns off immediately after turning on. Measure voltage at the emitters of the transistors (7102, 7107, 7150 and 7152), if there is low/no voltage in some of them, check whether one of the following resistors (3128, 3126, 3164 and 3170) is open, find any open check possible leak in some of these capacitors (2112, 2113, 2156 and 2157).
PHILIPS FWM779/ FWM589/ FWM57
Turn off inter. or protect (rew 3 for vcr). Check possible changes in the protection circuit transistors: 7205, 7206 and 7212.
PHILIPS FWM779/ FWM589/ FWM57
Damage IC or TS semiconductor It damages the FET after the change, before connecting the amplifier panel, the power supply capacitors must be discharged.
PHILIPS FWM779/ FWM589/ 57
Heating transistor If the fet transistors are heating up too much: 7112, 7117, 7162, 7165; check diodes with possible changes: 6107, 6110, 6155 and 6160.
PHILIPS 20PT4331 /78R - CHASSIS L03
Vertical closing intermittent. - check capacitor 2460 (see service information ts04-016).- check capacitor 2461 (1nf).- check service information ts04-016.- check capacitor 2464.
PHILIPS 20PT4331 /78R - CHASSIS L03
Vertical with little amplitude - check capacitor 2460 (68nf 100v), provisionally the capacitor will be damaged by heating, in this case the stations are being advised to replace the capacitor with (68nf 250v) code 2222 479 47207.- check transistor 7461, if in doubt replace.- check service information ts04-016.
PHILIPS 20PT4331 /78R - CHASSIS L03
Voltages below the specified (vo, +b,..) - g2 does not work, check 5441 tsh. - check possible change in the 1k 3525 smd resistor connected to pin 9 of the ci 7250.
PHILIPS 20PT4331 /78R - CHASSIS L03
Voltages below the specified (vo, +b,..) - check possible changes in the 1k 3525 smd resistor connected to pin 9 of the ci 7250. - check possible changes in the 3453 resistor.
PHILIPS 20PT4331 /78R - CHASSIS L03
Voltage varying. - check possible changes in the 1k 3525 smd resistor connected to pin 9 of the ci 7250. - check possible changes in the transistor 7523 or 7515.
