When plugging in, the stand-by LED stays on but nothing turns on, not even the control, much less the keys. the 114v +b was at 130v. | I replaced almost all the parts that could be causing this problem. I also changed the crystal and nothing, the photo coupler and many other parts until I decided to change the micro or IC201 and it solved the problem. | Ic201 is the tda12165ps | FRANCISCONASCIMENTO |

Screen off with audio | LED bar defect | Tv lg 32ln540b the image disappeared and only the audio remained (leds defect), it was sent for repair and they charged R$400.00, 90 day warranty...a few days after the end of the warranty the defect returned. The owner gave up on the TV and bought another, leaving it with me to study. I disassembled it and saw that only one LED had been replaced and it was the one that failed again. One note...without appropriate welding equipment, the replaced LED may be far from the LED bar, wsound heat dissipation is compromised and for this reason it burns again. Aiming to remove a LED bar and keep the rest of the parts for future repairs, I bought a similar TV for R$ 170.00 (with the screen broken, but showing the image normally) and when dismantling I saw that one bar was missing two LEDs (which had been removed and made a direct connection) as I used one of the bars that was good to repair the other TV, I put the other one missing an LED on it (directly connected), so the one with the broken screen started to work with three less LEDs. Originally this model has 22 LEDs and I could see that now with 19 it is not possible to notice this lack in the image shown, but it would certainly overload the circuit. This TV uses 3 volt LEDs (it would be 66 volts for maximum brightness) the LED power circuit provides, in relation to ground, more or less 130 volts which, after crossing the LEDs, passes through a circuit that regulates this voltage. I didn't achieve anything with a resistor in series, I placed a 33Ω resistor in series with the LEDs to see if it would compensate for the lack of three, but the regulator circuit increased the voltage and the voltage that supplied the LEDs remained the same. So I wrote down the values below which suggest that even if the three LEDs are missing, if the energy saving function is in the minimum saving position, the LEDs will work without any overload (measurements taken with a digital TV channel showing a film and with the image mode : standard). measurements taken on the TV wsound 3 LEDs were missing: energy saving: off 66.7v/minimum 53.2v/average 38.6v/maximum 17.3v measurements taken on the TV with all 22 LEDs: energy saving: off 76.9v/minimum 62.3v/average 46.2.6v/maximum 24.7v conclusion: It is highly recommended that this TV model never has the energy saving function turned off, as in a circuit with 22 3 volt LEDs it is receiving 76.9 volts as seen above, in a short time an LED will burn out and turn off the screen. | littlecarlos |
