TV turns on with sound, no image and no backlight | Short SMS capacitor c204 on the driver board left side of the display | I found a replaced LED in the backlight, after assembling the TV it still had sound, no image. I noticed on the tcon board that tsound was no vdd voltage and that the short came from the left side screen driver (right side with the TV mounted), I then found c204 shorted, after the replace the TV started working normally again. It is worth mentioning that they also check c221 and c223 which are in parallel with c204, but in my case it was "c204". | Edumiguez |
