SONY	KX2501	Shut off, replaced ic651	Set shuts off just after turn on. found 140v b+ line goingup to 250v.
SONY	KV3000R	Dead	Dead. found 150vdc fuse on the f board open. second problemis both doors were slipping on the track. repositioned door motor. thisis the second unit i have found that the nuts that hold the motors wereloose. upon closing door would reverse and open.
SONY	KV2649R	Intermittent fade out, cleaned crt pins	Picture would fade out to a dark raster, very intermittent.all voltages checked ok.

SONY	KV1953RX	No functions, replace q2002	No ch. display light. no audio. no front panel controls.ic2001 (cx7931a) on m brd was receiving the info. on pins 3/4 from ic001on the mu brd. however, output back to pin 5 of ic2001 was not occurring.pin 12 of ic2001 was reading 6.4v instead of 12v.
SONY	KV1952RX	No functions, replace x2001	No remote or manual functions. channel indicator lamps didnot come on. this is the 2nd one i have found. i have also had 3servicers that have had the same problem.

SONY	VTX1000R	Video mute	Kx-1901 plays fine with external video but when hooked tothe vtx-1000 it goes into video mute. we found ic005/if chip in thevtx-1000 to be defective.

SONY	KX2501	No video out, replaced q1343	No video out. traced problem to bd board. 12vdc regulatorleaky. voltage reading was 10vdc, should be 12vdc. this caused incorrectbias to be applied to rgb drive transistor via bd cutting off the drivetransistors.
