Monitor does not turn on | Chip responsible for the 1.2v line ic803 (mp2315) visibly burned | Replace the IC, which is an mp2315, or place a linear converter or some other 1.2v voltage regulator on pin 3, which goes to the 1.2v coil. To test if this is the only problem, simply remove the burnt IC and inject 1.2v into the L801 coil, this coil goes directly to the processor, so be careful not to get the voltage wrong. a simple 1.2v 1117 sot-223 regulator will not work as the current is quite high. | Darci Denzer |
