SONY	KV1355R	No b+, relaced l-601	The unit had no b+. we found l-601 to the main bridge opened.
SONY	KV25XBR	Dead set	The red wires coming from dy1 and dy2 were broken at the yoketerminal and shorting to the chassis. this blew the fuse and shorted thehoriz output transistor. it appeared as if the wires were twisted off.there was no other damage to the yoke.

SONY	CDP101	Intermittent operation	When first looked at the spindle, motor was on in reverse atfull speed. found ic503/x502 not operating and replaced them. motorstill ran in reverse but the clock was operating. pin 13/14 ic503 wave-form was low. found q510 b-e open.
