SONY	TCFX410R	Intermittent record and play	Found the wires from the rotating head were too short, makingrec and play intermittent with the change of tape direction.

SONY	KV2690R	No tuning, replace c-140 on a board	High voltage would come up at turn on but no tuning functionscould be performed. found c140 on busy line between memory chip and pllcontroller chip was partially shorted which was lowering voltage at pin 30of pll, indicating a constant busy.
