No plot and no sound | Tv lg flatron rp-29fa30a was without plot and without sound. when pressing the power button it produced an intermittent hiss...like tshhh.....tshhh.....in the tsh collector there was also an intermittent +b, varying between 110v and around 70v. It was possible to observe that there were some voltages originating in the fly-back secondary, quite reduced and also varying, but there was no voltage at the screen output, which indicated a defect in it. Replacing the fly-back with one from Brasalfa, the defect was resolved, but the weave was excessively wide. After checking that there were no damaged components in that circuit, it was enough to enter service mode and make the correction. (One way to enter the service mode of this device is to simultaneously press the menu keys on the remote and on the TV panel for + or - 10 seconds.) | littlecarlos | |
