The c.i. 202 ( gvc 08001 ) was defective. After a long search, I finally found a used one. After replacement, the monitor started working normally again.
LG	440SI STUDIOWORKS	Sudden horizontal oscillations on the screen. Sometimes it almost completely loses its shine, then it suddenly becomes good. shatters the sides of the monitor.	Pin 02 of the fly back is +b, and must be fixed at 65 vdc. if it is varying, it could be the d701 or q704. The most likely is the 10k/1kv ceramic capacitor, it is right in front of the fly back 6174z-1003d. Note: in this defect, the technician usually changes the s,h. and the fly-back..., but without success. They are not the villains. Good luck my comrades. carlos

LG	29C85	After 50 seconds on, the TV closes the vertical position, mutes the audio and turns off, remaining in stand by, no longer turning on. after a while off it starts working again	Cold solder. Check welding on all cis, transistors, connectors and high power resistors and the TV started working again.
LG	CI29H40 PC8KA	There was a bright white screen with flyback lines on this set. the a1 adjustment had very little effect	I found that ic901 tda6108jf on the tube base was faulty, pin 7 blue o/p and pin 8 green o/p both read s/c to ground. note: this chip was probably taken out due to the tube flashing over as in my case
