Part # correction: q503 (correct part # is 8-729-204-10) Found part # for q503 8-729-240-10, was not in system (fipm).looked in semi-conductor replacement handbook and found that the # for2sd1417 is actually 8-729-204-10 (page 700 of 1992 2nd srm). we had thepart in stock and the unit was repaired.

Intermittent loading problems (found ph11 defective) First unit intermittently would not find correct disc then gotstuck in that position. heard mech noise elevator and worm gear ref 205,m501, were both torn up a bit. replaced these parts then unit would go upto disc 5 at most, found ph1 was almost short

No mic audio/replace c413 Subbed mic pcb to see if it was the problem. mic pcbdefinitely had a probllme follwoing power to q405, r415 which had 4.7v onobth sides. there was an open between r415 and base of q405. c413 wasleaky which caused this trace to open up.
