PHILCO	TPF2940	When the TV is turned on after a few minutes, the image darkens at once but the sound continues. Turning it off and turning it on again returns the image normally and after about 10 to 16 minutes it returns with the same defect.	I removed the capacitor c60 9 of 220nf x100v which was measuring about 202nf on the capacimeter. and the c606 of 47nonofaraides x250 vlts apparently good on the capacimeter, but it was bad	I replaced the two c606 and c609 close to the vertical output (note in some cases you have to replace up to the vertical output number; tda 8177f) it remained file	This email address is being protected from spambots. PHILCO	PCS 2952	Blinking LED, +b normal power supply	Procedure: checking the horizontal circuit, I discovered the horizontal output transistor q703 (bu2508dx) shorted and the vertical output ci shorted (pin 6 shorted to pin 1), the +b of the power supply (120 volts) normally reached pin 1 of the flyback, 9 volts on the regulator ic701 (ba17809t), but tsound was no 24 volts on pin 6 of the vertical output IC nor the 12 volts on pin 10 of the flyback.	Researching the polarization circuits, I found the resistor r720 (0.47r 1/3w) open. I replaced it, the TV started working normally again.	andrefernandes44
