No functions - replaced ph701 Unit has no functions. functions cd1, cd2, tuner est willnot light up when pressed. -solution : ph701 is bad, pin on input signal was strong, pin 4 outputwas very low. changed ph701.

Intermittent protection - replaced c703 On one channel there is +2 to +5 volts on the emmitors ofoutput transistors. this case q713 & q712. checked all resistors,transistors, in channel all checked good. problem seemed to be in areaof q701 replaced it, same problem, found c703 shorted.

No power - replaced ic202 Unit won't power up, found no output from pin 38 of ic202for power relay.

Hf buzz on all outputs - add 820pf cap btwn ic631 out & gnd High frequency buzz on all outputs at no volume, more noticable when display dim(sleep timer on). found 3mhz modulated with h/f buzz all around the set (including gnd) especially at ouput of ic631. the ic was getting worm
