Low audio playback - replace ic503, p/n 8-759-239-15. Unit had low audio in playback only. i checked ic503anf found ac eq out of ic503/pin 7 to be putting out only 50mv. in goodunit it should put out 400 mv ac. ic 503 eq output was defective.

Cn901 and cn902 - part numbers missing No part numbers for cn901 and cn902. -hq comments: these connectors are not supplied as repair parts. theyare only available as part of main board assy p/n a-3015-458-a.

No record oam and defective ogm remote - resolder ic801 Would not record ogm and no ogm remote. i checked signalat ic801/pin 69, da out, after recording ogm announcement. no signalcame out. signal is coming in at ic801/pin 75, mic1. ic801 chip had alot of pins cold soldered.

Defective ringer select - install r735 In answering mode or ogm activation, select switch at 3 ringsis defective. it takes 5 rings to activate ogm at 3 ringer select mode.i found that r735 is missing on the board.

Defective playback of ogm and icm - resolder ic805 Ogm and icm are cutoff after a few seconds of playback, but intest mode unit will pass ram test. during visual inspection of board,found ic805 to be poorly soldered. should ram test have detected thisproblem?

Low speakerphone volume - resolder c504 and c522 Very low audo when using speakerphone. when tracing audiosignal to ic501, i found both caps c504 and c522 torn off their traces.resoldering these caps fixed problem.

No speakerphone - c512 shorted No audio is heard when using speakerphone. checked voltageson ic501 and they measured 4.2v. found leads on c512 to be touchingtogether, grounding out rv501 speaker volume.

No ogm activation - c208 missing Defective bell detect test. i traced the signal comingout ph201/pin 3, wave form has a lot of ripple at ic701 pin 14 input. ifound out c208 missing at the main board.

Defective bell detect - broken trace at tp9 No ogm activation. no signal going into ic701 pin 14. tracedit down to ph201 output pin 3. it's missing between r208 to ic701 pin 14. i found a broken trace tp9 to r208 resistor.

Defective bell detect - replace q301, p/n 8-729-927-24 No ring and its connect or seized a line. i checked q301collector and emitter shorted together.

Defective keypad - resolder connector cn101 Keypad will not register #, 0 or * out to the phone line.found an open between cn101/pin 29 and cn102. resoldering cn101 fixesthis problem.

Vox dtmf test - replace ic504, p/n 8-759-996-43 No telephone line signal detection on dtmf display. there wasa signal coming in ic302/pin 11 to ic504/pin 2(input). there was no signalon ic504/pin 1 (output). ic504 was defective.

Defective ram test - reseat connector cn102 No response when pressing keyboard dial buttons. i cleanedkeyboard and resoldered ic701. still the same problem. i found cn102connector was cold soldered.
