Unit is dead - replace top cover Checked all power supplies, but the unit would not function.found the door close switch was staying open when the door was closed.the upper assembly panel (top cover) has an arm which closes the switch.the arm was broken.

No audio, no -5v (replace open l291/l292, p/n 1-410-658-31) Unit plays disc, but has no audio. the low-pass filters andbuffers have no -5 volts. this voltage is produced from coils l291, l292and the +5 volt regulator ic291. if either coil is open the -5 voltswill be missing.
