Field o/p chip repeatedly fails | Replace ic 601. get two 33v zener diodes and connect them in series ( bzx79c33v) connect the anode to pin 1 of ic601 cathode to pin 2 of ic 601. fit 10nf 50v capacitor across the frame scan plug e701 on print side of the plug. if the ic still blows after this mod. a new crt is required. the tube is flashing over. this applies to all sizes of 14t/te range of sets | ||
